In those days, it was common to marry within one’s family, as was the case of Isaac and Jacob, who married their cousins, and Abraham, who married his half-sister. In this essay, I explore the topic of marriage disaffection, the role of pornography as an escape mechanism, and the impact that it has on marriage. I will also present coaching examples that marriage counselors and coaches can utilize to help their clients through the ups and downs of marriage.
